Out of interest what are people thoughts on the "best" solo combo (3 routes)

I personally like striker/sa/dragon-striker for the early armour damage,sa health and sorc etc to kill the poms that would try and defend the first two routes :p

Depends what your goals are really!

Personally I think a PoM, Arsonist and CG combo could wreck havoc attacking together :p

But in defence, it's gotta be PoM+Nano. I can't see many people succeeding to land against news vans and stunbots ;) The other PNAP is just overkill then :p

well ive seen a few bunkers this round fail dreadfully..

it's all about the players. Me and toby did fairly well a few rounds back, we had no third nap and our routes were puppet and arsonist. I reckon we were both top 30 for a few weeks before we stopped playing.
Also as a solo you'd be better off playing a route you enjoy instead of a route that's supposedly a part of the "best combo". As long as you enjoy playing it doesn't matter what your route is. In the past we've seen solos do well with RPGs, SA, TL, Harriers, Dragons, all sorts of robos, Vampires, Puppets, PoMs. Bunkers, PBs, Strikers, Arsons.. think I ran out of routes

Depends on the stage of the round. I've discussed this with a few people. If I were to play a round with 2 other people and our goal was to hold on to R1-3 for as long as possible (without having a huge solo group) we would go CG/PB/PoM.

You can boost your PNAP's with CG's in order to give all 3 of you the "CG advantage" (which btw, Twigley, you're right now that I look at it objectively they are imbalanced, hopefully you won't read this though <3). You can't keep up in land otherwise after ~4 days (unless you're pro at round starts like moi or super lucky).

PoM is necessary for holding on to land at the start. An idea COULD be to have the PoM go Military and use SD's as your blockers and Privates as your sweepers, but Privates target All so it theoretically could be combated with a very intelligent and dedicated opponent who figures out your tactics. Also gurus come out quicker than SD's, and are more cost effective at doing the job. PoM rushes hax0r/spy in case that wasn't obvious. Other 2 rely on him as they can't afford to get them quickly.

PB's are a necessity. You really can't combat PB's without PB's without relying on luck in not being targeted. I did an active solo round where I combated PB's with Apprentices by last ticking, but even then if they know you're solo they will often be willing to work together with a 2nd PB to **** you over. PB's have too long of a 'reign of terror' not to have your own for defense. PB's/gurus are there to protect you from all threats until your CW's are out.

This is all assuming extreme activity/contactability/dedication obviously! I'll have to think about the best competitive route combination ignoring the start of the round.

Another one bites the dust.

If you're active enough then;

3 Pom.
Pom, Thief, Nano.
Pom, SA, PA.

Imo it should have a pom in it.

Can you explain why the above routes together?

There is no such thing as the best combination.

Every single route in the game has a weakness, some have bigger ones at the cost of more fun and earlier initiative. At the end of the day what matters if that you enjoy the route you are playing and have fun with your friends. In your situation that doesn't really matter does it?

I like you Stargazer, but I have repeatedly caught you bribe cheating and I feel that if I advise any more than I already you will become like KB but stronger.

I am sorry, but I regret on this occasion you will not get any help from me and I plead with anybody contemplating replying here to be helpful to think again...because you are creating a monster and you will not know what hit you once he's ready.

Not many players will be able to touch you next round, regardless of what route you play. Your activity levels are too high, your sleep mode times are sneaky and you have outsiders to help you all the way to the top. Oh and, don't ever forget what I've done to you and all your PNaps this round. Don't make me sign up just to take you out.

Possibly the best cheated bribe combination I have ever seen, and you do it so well as well. Only ever keep 1-2 sets of helpers in news at any one time. Always hiding your stealth bribes to make it look like you're legit. This is the first time you've actually revealed your full set up, why is that? You should have stayed hidden until the end because now everybody will know you cheated. I have you admitting to it and I've been saving spy reports since the day I caught you, I have lots of them and I showed lots of players too.

_____

Offtopic and against the rules again...

But don't worry Im probsbly having a round off, thanks for making this round interesting..
Don't you even think about talking to me about rules, I play within the rules of this game every round I play. Go ask somebody how many times I have been banned for swearing and other childish things but I have NEVER once cheated.

IDs are allowed to be posted 3 days before the round ends, or were the last time I played.

Everybody is breaking the rules but nobody but me and a few other friends seem to do anything about it.

Trust me, if you do sign up to next round I will find you, and I will kill you. If you think you can pull the wool over my eyes by playing incognito then think again. Because that is one of my best talents, locating players, friends and most importantly cheaters.

If this post is edited it will be a real shame, but it's not hard to work out who you are simply by spying me and seeing who I hit last.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for bribes, I can tell you I don't have f117s. But what I do have are a very particular set of units; units I have acquired over a very long round. Units that make me a nightmare for routes like you. If you quit the game now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

omg, antisbackisback! Ye, I'm slow...

I reckon POM/Arson if just two. I was thinking of doing this at start, till I pretty much didnt play anyway

For three combine POM/Arson with nano or dragon. Both would be awesome.

Maybe something like RPG/POM/Dragon or RPG/POM/Marines.
Or Striker/SA/Dragons
if you want to kill some ****.

pfft not as active as me :p

but i feel routes that are good on all 3 ticks would be best, SA,CW,Pom,Striker,Marine are just some but u have to be able to enjoy the route u play as a solo otherwise its boring dying/giving up land all the time
