So how about this... All the allies and active forums users agree to not purchase any units. We simply cut off this source of income from Azzer. He refuses to give a **** about this game so we stop his income from it. Maybe then he will pay attention.

Those wishing to contribute to the game by making suggestions (both small and large) should read the following before doing so.
Bushtarion largely runs completely automatically, and has been designed intentionally to be as self-maintaining as possible, with mechanics and balance considered at a completed point.
Please do not spend large amounts of time coming up with complex suggestions in the hope that they will be read and possibly implemented in the future, unless you just enjoy the discussion, theory-craft, and such.
The most likely changes will be rules-changes, specific number-tweaks to units, techs, and similar sorts of changes, and only if a large community consensus is reached as "proof" that a change would, overall, be an improvement, and are more likely to be done in batches, occassionally, not as a regular thing.

Isn't actually a bad idea, given the state of things anyway, things are usually decided before most punits are out anyway, so why not protest and hit Azzer where it hurts, his wallet. Serves him right for neglecting his game imo

I will assume you are not being sarcastic so i can basically gripe via my explanation.
Azzer used to be the admin. This is his game.
However this game no longer has an admin
He hasnt logged on the forums long enough so that his last active time does not even appear.
He seems to no longer care about this game which is a shame. We understand that he has been busy developing a game, but given that he has put 0 effort into this game for over the last year it does not leave a good impression on anyone.
Also, the game is slowly losing players and Azzer does not do anything to promote it. Its a great game and does not have nearly enough players as it should. He just expects us players to vote for bushtarion on some site, which I'm not sure many people even visit, with the expectation that this might actually help.
There have even been a number of suggestions by the playerbase which could be used to promote the game. There have been suggestions a while back for incorporating the game into facebook, or a smartphone app. However, i think Azzer has put this into the too hard basket without proper consideration. Azzer is not willing to invest in really giving this game potential and has instead decided to let it slowly die. While he might not have the necessary coding knowledge, im sure there are others who do and would be willing to co-develop the required code.
The extrordinary number of people that spend countless hours playing **** games like mafia wars or farmland (oir whatever its called) is testament to the fact that facebook is a great platform to invest in, especially when you already have a tried and tested product which you know works and is great and addictive. He could even include just a simpler version of bushy (eg the age 2 version or similar) on facebook, through which he could promote the full awesome much expanded version.
A smartphone app would also probably prove to be an even better investment. It is just waaaaaay to easy for people to spend money on those things and you would probably have a higher percentage of players paying for game cash/blueprints.
Also, good old fashion advertising wouldnt hurt. Judging by the gazillions of adverts all over the internet and media, it obviously works. Yes this stuff costs money, but he is making it nonetheless directly from this game. You make money grow by reinvesting it, not by doing nothing.
So bascially Azzer is the guy who made this game, and then decided he didnt have enough time to work on this game for one week or even a day a year. Which is obviously bullcrap.
He knows we are agitated with his neglect of this game, but instead of even try to offer a half-arse excuse he just ignores the game altogether.

I've been saying for ages now that Facebook intergration would boost this game's playerbase tenfold within a month or two.

You might be able to get it as an Emulator, in the same way there are Emulators for other old and redundant platforms (Eg, SNES Games) that Android users like to use for novelty value
