disney bought lucasfilm. star wars 7 will star mickey mouse. regardless of the poor shambles of prequels... i will cry if there are cheesesabers

i knew it would happen sooner or later, but man the end of an era, in my lifetime! i know lucas wanted to focus on han and leia's kids, but i wonder what direction the 7-9 movies will take due to the large expanded universe.

At first I was pessimistic. Star Wars with Mickey mouse.

Then I was optimistic, seeing as Disney managed to make some Marvel films without completely butchering the source material.

Then I heard George Lucas would be helping Disney as a "Creative Consultant", so now I'm back to pessimistic.

I think that the original can be created despite of all the efforts. I have respect for original. The episode 7 is set to release over the year 2015.
