• Those wishing to contribute to the game by making suggestions (both small and large) should read the following before doing so.

    Bushtarion largely runs completely automatically, and has been designed intentionally to be as self-maintaining as possible, with mechanics and balance considered at a completed point.

    Please do not spend large amounts of time coming up with complex suggestions in the hope that they will be read and possibly implemented in the future, unless you just enjoy the discussion, theory-craft, and such.

    The most likely changes will be rules-changes, specific number-tweaks to units, techs, and similar sorts of changes, and only if a large community consensus is reached as "proof" that a change would, overall, be an improvement, and are more likely to be done in batches, occassionally, not as a regular thing.

Is there going to be a lite login screen?

Just that the new front page is a little "obvious" for those who may surreptitiously be signing in on a work PC

hmmm, i was just thinking, the current one, while it looks nice and neat, it is not very 'light' so to speak. I think the older one was more appropriate, as a black background may look kinda suss if you are at work/school ect.
I dont need it changed, as i cant get to it at work, and i dont really go on to it at uni, but for those that can/do i think they would prefer a change to a white background maybe? After all the light login is not what someone new will see straight off.

Shouldn't be white as it's the same page :p
It's only white as subdomains have a tendency to screw with relative paths, but ah well!

The subdomain stuff isn't complete yet (as Weeble points out, relative paths are screwed up, which is why I've not announced any subdomains yet).

What I will do is add an option to stick something to the end of the URL, something like;
www.bushtarion.com/lite?C=1

And make it use a white based display instead, so those that play from work can bookmark that instead. Not done yet but I'll do something like this.

I get an error 404 message when using http://lite.bushtarion.com, so I assume this will work in due course? :D

It will, when Azzer's actually sorted out the subdomain stuff!
The reason you'll be getting a 404 is most likely to do with domain propagation - it generally takes 48 hours (although sometimes more) for any domain (including subdomains) to be... 'accessible' by everyone, as it takes time for every ISP to be taught about the new domain pointer.
Give it a day or two and everything should be right as rain.
