That's pretty awesome actually, didn't know about that. Posts with a hundred smileys shotgunned all over it kinda made my eyes bleed and my brain sad anyway.

So yeah, I disagree. A post with nothing but smileys in is spam in a can anyway.

To be fair, yes a post with all smileys would be deleted from most forums as Spam . However we do have the spam forum and some more personal threads like Hello/goodbye where words don't say enough =P

I've increased the limit to 25, that should cover more than the average post!

Hmmm, is it not possibe to just change the smiley limit? Cause 25 large pics can really mess things up...kinda makes the limit pointless

I think best post I can remember on forums was made majoratedly of smilies.

Actually, I do remember that post. I was pretty good I admit. But that's pretty much the only exception I can think of. But DarKGoD was always awesome anyway.

To be honest I don't think we need such limits at all, we have mods for a reason.

If it is spam and not in the spam section then delete it. Sometimes there are useful ways of using a lot of smileys without them being spam.

I remember someone once create something connected to BlackWofl and his ViruS using smileys (an evil vampire smiley surrounded by loyal smileys or something like that) and it was quite original. Just a small example of how a lot of smileys can be used about something else than spam.
