yeh good point, also (sorry to be a pain)-it gives you how many gard you can stop total but is there a way to see what how many one type of unit can stop?

I don't think there is. But if I want to know that I just go to best ratios thread to get a conservative estimate.

Gotta have *some* skill requirements left in the game! You know, like checking another thread, or trying to remember how ratios go :p

well I always thought the only real skill worth having/needing is judging the outcome of a BR. And by that I mean anything other than trying to block pure flak :p
I could never remember the flak blocking abilities of all the units, I often end up at best ratios thread when i'm flak attacking or starting a new route.

and then, you still gotta watch for sweepers and layered flak.

oh ya! I wasn't aiming a dig at you, that is, and has always been the true judge of competence, BR prediction. That's why some people are really good at this game, and other people are complete crap.

That's not a bug, I didn't see the point of saving the route when they have nothing teched as it will change or it could be misleading and actually be SO.

It seems the problem is that it doesn't load on the ally inc page. It's fine on the world view and when I click on their names to spy/hax whatever, but on the inc page none shows as a particular route. Is that a local problem, or do you have the same?

Best feature of this toolkit (and one I hadn't noticed until now): changing "Current Champions" to "Biggest Score Queens" on the World Rankings page.

A problem I encounted last round was the saved route part.

If someoene went SO and had cloners, and had some bribed units, the route saved wouldnt be called 'SO - Secret Agents'. It would be 'Briber'. Pretty sure SA isnt classed as bribing ;)

I've thought about the problem and one possible solution would be to look for blank unit numbers.

For instance, say your SO had cloned some RPGs. A true RPG ID would have spaces on a hax0r report for Shock Troopers and Humvees, even if they hadn't bought any while an SO or briber route would only show those spaces if they had cloned those units as well.

It sounds like a complicated fix, but I think it's possible.

Good luck getting Ant interested enough in the game to fix the toolkit though :p

well for the SO fix - i think it'd be easy enough - if no poli briber present, then so/sa (unless bunkers).

because you can clone bunkers/poli and puppets... once they clone those then it could switch to bunker/briber designation. not using the toolkit - i'm not familiar with the 'saved route' feature, and will end up asking why call it a saved route if it can change/be fluid?

I had some parsing problems in my personal news anytime I got bribed.

As far as I could tell, it didn't matter which briber route it was (Hypno/Puppetes/ROs) against Sorcs.

The feature entails saving the route and making IDs route searchable. You can do it with a notepad just as easily, but the toolkit does it automatically.

I think he's got a script that just outputs a summary from a series of intelligence options.

Like if you hack some one, it'll have a tooltip saying "I say old chap, could you possibly driveby this target first so we can see how much of his score is seeds/plants/land and thereby know how much is from funds/stealth units?"

Also, it tallies the incoming/outgoing mobs on a spy page and displays them rather helpfully, as well as recalls and identifying alliances by defending IDs.

If you don't use the toolkit, I suppose you use nobreakspace? I haven't used it, but I'm guessing it does similar things.

i like knowing harv needs and sometimes i use spy parser, but for the most part - i generally dislike and disapprove of any toolkit. takes the fun and work out of the game.

with the tool kits and battle generators, it's ok my group of numbers will smash this other group of numbers and ha! i already knew my numbers were supreme, noob! neener neener.

at least doing the maths and leg work yourself gives you some sort of reward. at this point, the game should be reduced to nothing but Bots just sending at each other and randomly email you updates of news and battles.

You'd be surprised by the amount of times last round that people pulled def or attacks because the battle calc said they'd lose, and clearly just looking at what was sent we were going to win. I tried to ban that lot from using it, as it failed miserably on numerous occasions. =|

Well when all you rely on are the "scores" involved, you'll recall. That and because you've got a sandy vajayjay.
