• Those wishing to contribute to the game by making suggestions (both small and large) should read the following before doing so.

    Bushtarion largely runs completely automatically, and has been designed intentionally to be as self-maintaining as possible, with mechanics and balance considered at a completed point.

    Please do not spend large amounts of time coming up with complex suggestions in the hope that they will be read and possibly implemented in the future, unless you just enjoy the discussion, theory-craft, and such.

    The most likely changes will be rules-changes, specific number-tweaks to units, techs, and similar sorts of changes, and only if a large community consensus is reached as "proof" that a change would, overall, be an improvement, and are more likely to be done in batches, occassionally, not as a regular thing.

Well reading through the age 4.5 thread i was looking at what darksider was talking about alliance wars and if an ally wins they should get something...

and i was thinking what about taking prisoners of war like at your HQ... and everyone can see it

like it is a regular hack of HQ
but its a section under it saying
P.O.W's
[100,000 Vampires][488,880 officers]


and i was thinking this would give alliances more of a reason to dev the HQ even with the scrambler the p.o.w's still show
maybe this could be a new HQ unit that "Captures" units

These HQ "capture" units could only be used in defence and not attackingjust like regular HQ units!!

alliance leaders have an option to slaughter the p.o.w's but that would make the alliances bounty huge or something i was wanna say their title turn red... but i dont know

Also another way for an alliance to get it back is for the leaders to make an official trade or something and trade HQ cash or w/e and the units return to the owners :p....

bah i forgot to add that alllys can rescue the units in a battle by attacking the HQ and winning the BR versus the HQ units , tanks officers, etc and what ever defence it gets

This could bring more strategies like saying in war u are massing an ally with ur troops some one attacks there hq they have to choose if they will defend with the hq units or leave them there to protect POWs

maybe there could be a tech or a unit that inspires the pow's to help there captures like stockholm syndrome or propaganda campaigns or something like that

what possible gain could their be for slaughteing them?

how would it improve wars? the only time our units are used to hit HQs are if we're at the top and bored or u wanted to wipe out the troops ppl left at the HQ overnight (or whenever), otherwise its just HQ on HQ, ur idea would make hitting the enemies HQ less worthwhile as u could not only have ur men killed but stolen too...and then rescuing them would mean spend even more money on rescue devel/troops and then more would die int he rescue, overall it seems a galactic waste of funds

no there was more positive post than negative

yeah the pow idea was brought up in the old forum but not for long before we switched... and depending on how azzer ups his war system enhancements... i think this would be a particularly fun idea. I had my own suggestions on how i would want it to see implemented, but i like the idea of a pow camp for officially declared wars. :D
