Tao's way of thinking was actually correct in R7. However since then the targetting system was changed such that the units targetting classes are fixed, that is to say a terrorist always fires 70% at INN and 30% at LETH. If there are no INN present the 70% of the terrorists do not fire.

which means hips do 70% dmg to INN and yobs only 30% to INN, so hips are a best troops to defend yourself during flakwar

Crazed Droids target INN. So fire 100% at INN.
Tyrant Drones target LET/INN/ALL. So fire up to 50% at INN.

Does that mean CD kill gardeners better than TD? No, as TD do a lot more health damange than CD. Likewise, Yobs do a lot more health damage than Hippies.

1st, Crazed droids are build to take out armoured flak and not health flak, but still they do a nice amount of damage against healthy INN
2nd, Hips and Yobs do same amount of damage, Yobs only look like they do more as they fire late in the BR, and so can take out all low health troops. *sweeping*

No...Yobs have something like 3-4 times the Health Damage of Hippies.
