I'm making a reggae playlist to listen to and cheer me up when the times get rough and things get me down. Any help with songs/artists would be greatly appreciated I got a few Bob Marley albums so im sorted with that.

Im not interested in other people playlists, most of them don't suite my taste! and googling takes time I don't want to waste but thanks for the link. What im looking for are good artists. :twisted:

Third World - 96 degrees in the shade
Zap Pow - This is reggae music
Aswad - Shine
Aswad - Give a little love
Capleton - That day will come
Burning Spear - I stand strong
Ziggy Marley - Love is my religion
Bunny wailer - Iron shirt
Steel Pulse - Roller Skates
Black eyed peas - Dum Diddly
Wailing souls - Equality

Anymore tracks or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Call me crazy, and maybe i'm just a conservative traditionalist (lol) but no Bob Marley? Really? I suppose you *could* be bored of them, but he's like, the ultimate popular top of reggae, and not to have him included seems a bit of a waste really . Ipods are big enough to accomodate a lot of songs

And if you wanted specific tracks, pick *any* of them, they are just about all reggae classics.

oo also, go to upstter.net, and down load some Radio Scratch sessions, so good, Upsetting Version Galore is best but you do get a bit of talking!

beet down babylon, various artits have stratched (meaning copied) this rythm but all of them are have their own uniquness and are awesome. and i dont know who the artist are

Anything by Toots and the Maytals if you're into more classic kind of reggae, can't beat them for a bit of chilled out reggae vibes

Also Damian Marley's Welcome to Jamrock album is awesome, so any tracks from there also (I'd recommend a specific couple but my favourite from it changes all the time )

Kariko, do you have a good dub selection? Ive got a good but fairly small selection. So would love some more artists and songs etc

the difference between dub and reggae is non-existent.

Everyones mentioned top reggae acts however....

Some bands that i like.
