I've taken part in many resistances and this one was never going to work, and I think time has kind of proven that point for me. Kudos to people for trying a resistance when none of the alliances involved were FTW, but *****ing at me and Dennis for having the slightest grip on reality was embarrassing.

I did not split people on the way toast was playing. I think Bluehen was talking to him about it and I sided with Bluehen on it. I'll admit, I didn't like toast much anyway, and felt his stat whoring was kind of pathetic, and I always speak my mind on these issues. If there were splits in the alliance after that argument then they were already there and I shouldn't be blamed for being the one to make them public. A split shows that I wasn't the only one who had a problem with it, so why do I get the blame? Blame toast for his **** stat-whoring, repeat-attacking, ftw-obsessed mentality.

I felt the alliance was not going in a direction which would be enjoyable for me, so I left. It was clear to me that we'd end up either rank 2 or 3, and that isn't where I enjoy playing these days. I knew the alliance would be better off with someone more active and more willing to play competitively. It was not a selfish ship-jump. I had already spoken of leaving in the alliance channel a few days before that nonsense with toast, and was only waiting for Podunk to get online so I could give him some notice before leaving.

I really don't deserve these, some of my defense calls this round have been amateurish, and yeah, I've slept through pranks like a boss and generally been below my own high standards.

I'm personally an old school Leftovers survivor, unfortunately I don't think the Leader will touch bushtarion again and Davs is inactive, cloud I haven't spoken to in awhile. I hope they do make a return but it's very unlikely Although I made a return to bushtarion this round starting late after a 2/3 year quitting time I don't see Leftovers returning anytime soon.

The only example of amateurism I complained about was crazy for not checking TDA's id list properly and then whining about suddenly having a Kiwi retal (Combo inc) the tick after we launched and then going afk without saying what id the inc was on. He was soon replaced.

As I said before, you were pissing on the resistance talk before I "*****ed" at you and Dennis, this really ticked me off as it was only going to have a destructive influence on the commitment from our alliance which is why I said something along the lines of "I'm sure attitudes like yours do wonders for resistance efforts". If you didn't want to join in that was fine (and I don't recall calling on you for the second wave after getting sworn at) but morale would have been better had you not gone and basically called anybody who helped the resistance an idiot for even thinking we could succeed, which at the time given how behind on techs kiwi were I did at one point believe to be possible. Perhaps I'm optimistic and naive when it comes to resistances but I like to try.

There is a large difference between "trying to force" and encouraging people to send on the waves. As for you getting "bogged down", I play the way i like to play and the fact that you are one of the few that left indicates at least to me, that most of our alliance enjoyed having a crack at the top alliance and joining in on some organised hits as we have done (with success) at other stages in the round.

As I told Ogluk when we had a very similar argument a few weeks after this, there is nothing wrong with wanting to see your troops in battle nor with having the goal of achieving a stat or two. I don't really remember much repeat attacking (repeat attacking in my opinion shows a lack of ingenuity) however as the big fat pom which Toast was in Mo Dakka, he had a limited number of positive h/f giving targets, so if he had been doing it, then that's his choice but you shouldn't jump on the conclusion of statwhoring if there can be such a thing outside of intel scans and mobs sent. When I finished r1 kills last summer I killed people because I could, even if the profit was next to nothing and I'd be surprised if you don't have battles of the same nature.


You leaving was not the reason I voted you worst player, it was because of the resistance stuff, the rest was just an aside as I wanted to tell you what the alliance was like immediately after you left.

* Worst Player - Crazy? Not a bad player of the game, but messed with my head man. Defending against him and him telling me how his SDs would flak him (when im robo and ALL targetting is not my forte; i had some gargs but not many then) and how i was gonna get zeroed, when i knew i would win (and did, and got some nice gargs too). I couldnt tell whether he believed what he said, or whether he thought he would lose and was trying to bluff me into recalling, or whether he thought he would win and was trying to double bluff me into staying. lol. And then afterwards telling me he was gonna zero me cos i was annoying.

When i ingame mail i am usually just bluffing / trolling to get some convo going cause pols isnt very talkative you should know this timmah.
I just wanted you to recall its just jedi mind tricks dont worry i use them on everyone lmao

Also with the huge br on Us(TDA) that was a miscommunication like said before, if we had armour strippers it woulda been fun but at attacking for 3 you find out the guy only sent 10m TL's yeah were gonna get raped with only HD Killing routes vs 5 dragons.
