Small suggestion

I was wondering if it were possible to do the following suggestion.

Basically, on the overview page, it is possible to click on (listed below), and they disappear.

- Vote for Bushtarion
- Messages from Admin
- Alliance Leader/Comms Officer Message
- Staff
- Returning Injured Units
- Miscelleneous
- Land/Seed/Plants

You can do the same with the thing on the left hand side, (maybe right depending on colour scheme), where you can click on (listed below), and they disappear.

- Main Options
- Staff & Tech
- Land & Resources
- Intel & Combat
etc...

But my suggestion is, why not apply this into the alliance page too?

You could have:

- Alliance Info for
- Alliance Positions
- Incoming mobs detected at close proximity (ETA 6 or less)
- Blackbriar - Show All Members

Any downside to this?

I just thought more people are too lazy to scroll down the page to see whether there were any incomings or not. :P

I've suggested this to Azzer before, and his response was the same as Martin gives. However, even though it works now, I think that you should be able to hide your own allies pic on "your alliance" page (while still being able to see the pictures of alliances by going to the "alliance ranking page".

This can be done by either allowing a player to hide the picture frame by adding the same code as is used on the overview/left hand menu, or by giving the player a choice in preferences. But frankly, it can't be too much work to change the code, can it? I mean, it's not like it's not written already, and it should be a fairly simple copy & paste project.

I turned off my alliance banner option rounds ago- I have no idea what Hells banner looks like! But, saying that, I still have to scroll down frequently on my alliance page.

I suggested this a few rounds back in the old forums. I agree it would be helpful especially when there is a lot of incoming and you have to concentrate.
