They have developed the Data Scrambler development at their HQ.

It's mainly because you hacked a AHQ that you shouldn't have. :P

Indeed. And not really worth it as it stands. The HQ units are too ineffective to be of any use, and it's too easy to probe a HQ to see which members are defending it. No need to spy the HQ itself.

Everyone in BB would disagree on this one I think =D

If you decide to get Satellites anyway (to see ETA 6), it's not as much of a waste.
Oh yes, ETA 6 view. Get it, so I can rush even the players who I have +2 ETA mod on :)
If I cba that is.

That depends on what you need. Eta 6 gives you more time to plan defence if you're facing large amount of incoming for certain annoying top ranked players. However, it also gives you a disadvantage when it comes to stealth incoming. Without satelite you know that whatever stealth incoming is at least eta 5 or less.
But if you've got the money, and are active/contactable enough I suppose satellite could be worth it.

Also, as noted from rounds past, alliance developments give more alliance points.

No need to spy the HQ itself, lmao, this is a great way to find out who is sitting at their HQ for overnighters, then nail the HQ and wipe all of them out if you have enough firepower, which is definately fun to do, been there done that numerous times.
