What is the best Ps3 game atm. just bought a ps3 with GTA 4 and was wondering what other games are actually good. (thinking of getting COD4)

cheers maxi wanted to get ppls opinons as there are a lot of reviews that are contradictory and some games rated 90% i have found to be not great. will check out the link, :)

Well i have an Xbox 360 so i can only give my views about those games which are available for both systems:

COD4: an absolute must. It's fantastic online play, along with a compelling, entertaining and sweet storyline for singleplayer. It has lots of replayability etc.

Assassins Creed: is very awesome, but i might recommend not buying it til you've got a lot of extra cash. it's a great game, but i find it more of a sampler of what the xbox/ps3 can do, rather than a real freedom movement type of game. Also it does get very repetitiive. Frankly i'd hold off on buying this as it's pricey.

GTA4: Another must have. Unbelievable, awesome, unbeatable.

Frankly, i don't know of more/better games other than Bioshock that i'd recommend but apparently there's no PS3 version in the works :(

I'm sure others will have some suggestions but GTA4 and COD4 are the two must haves afaik.

got GTA4 and just Bought COD4 so once i have learnt how to play it i'll be scouting out ppl to attack online, :D

and i wish i wish that PGR was on ps3 brilliant game but GT is ok

RFoM/Motorstorm are the original PS3 games and still some of the best
Uncharted/Ratchet+Clank, UT3 are your best buys really, Heavenly Sword is stunning if short, and Warhawk is a great laugh
don't forget the MULTIDUDE of games on the PlayStation Store - (Warhawk), PixleJunk Racers/Monsters, Fl0w, RubberDuck game :?

but if i were u i'd wait for the end of the summer and save your cash cos it's gonna be an expensive time....

Get pain, and Pixeljunk monsters, from the PS Store. They are the two best PS Store games I've played. Assassin's Creed. Metal gear Solid 4 is due out "any time soon" I hope, so get that. Burnout Paradise is a bit of fun. And Motorstorm is technologically cool to show off to people on your huge high-def TV with surround sound.

Little Big Planet when it comes out will be the pwn. And Playstation "Home", if it ever ever ever comes out, might be cool. Or might be rubbish. Depends.

Personally, you must buy call of duty 4 is the best game online that i have played in a while, fifa is an obvious one :P there the only games i play really spend enough time on them as it is.

COD4 on Ps3 is a MUST HAVE! but it has a better sense of reality and enjoyment on PC.
