ok now where are they meant to show up?
I lost some troops earlier today defending myself and as far as i can tell the units died, i couldn't see any injury section in my overview/hiring or military page.....so am i just blind or are they hidden somewhere else?

Were the losses more than 3 hours ago? If so they'll already have returned.

Injuries seem to be working fine atm (in general)... I checked your ID and you lost your units at 12:40 PM, as you posted at 5:10 PM I'm going to assume you were looking for injured units round about the time you posted... which is after the 3 hour delay of course! All of your injured units would have returned by 15:50 PM at the latest! :D
By the way - they will appear as a new overview section, at the bottom of your hiring page, and if the return ETA is 5 or less, they will also appear in a hax0r! :D

Question: do they appear as 'standard' in a hax0r, or are they differentiated in the hack?

Just about to ask the same question.

If Im not mistaken, the portal news said that all staff returning within 5 ticks would show up as normal in a hack-report... as they in effect would be back when you land. (given you send a normal eta 5 attack) If you rush you'll have no way of knowing off course, but that OK, rushing is ghey anyway.. ;)
Is the Injury rate lower if you get killed by SAS? Seems I only got ~25% return on someone who is three times my size. Bye bye bounty and apprentices. :?

How large a difference does the "lawfullness" of a battle contribute to the number of injuries?
'cos I lost 65k officers defending an ally, from which I should expect 20-25k injuries. It wasn't a particularly fair fight, probably outnumbered them 3 to 2, but I hadn't anticipated receiving *nothing* in the way of injuries.
Unless there's a bug in the displaying of injuries, because as far as I can see I'm not getting any:
Staff:
Name: Type: Range: Cost: Available: Injured: Total:
Officer Kills [all] £35,000 X 0 X

Bit of a problem here. If I'm not wrong, I get injuries if defending my allies, right? I just lost a handful of troops defending, and not a single injury.

sounds like the same problem as me.

It should be 50% in attacks, with -30% to +20% return rate based on the size of your target (ie lawfulness). At your company you'll have 60%, defending others 40%. Even if you outnumber them 3 to 2, I'm pretty sure you should get at least *something* back. If it's indeed a bug Azzer should look into it asap. ;)

There was a bug in the code preventing players from getting injured units when defending another ID. This is now fixed. Sorry about that! Cheers for the reports :D

Just to make sure: Bribed units will be injured just like staff you have bought, right?

Yes they will this has already been cleared up in another topic.
(oops didn't realize there was a second page where azzer had already answered my bad)

I just hacked someone and saw the units that were Injured returning eta 1 2 and 3... so either there is another bug or this is wrong.

Well, true.. You see all staff returning the next 5 ticks. What I meant was that anything returning AFTER that will be invisible on a hack. And thus the whole rushing thing was me being silleh...

Do injured units "get better" and return to being useful or do they just sit around looking pretty?

Guess what the "Injury delay/eta" does when it reaches 0! :P

Get better??
So is it like a variation of insurance that automatically buys staff for you? :x-mas:
