Okay, so as many people know, i quit active/allied play, i decided to play puppets (because i can't quit cold turkey) and i because i'd never played a bribing route before and thought it would be fun.

Okay, so now i'm devving along, not really burning through it at speed because i'm not playing actively blah blah blah.... So now i finally have the money (both ingame and out) to buy the Punit (puppets, i.e. the ENTIRE reason the route exists) and when i go to purchase it i ****ING CAN'T!!!!

Blueprint purchases are currently disabled in World 1, possibly due to it being too close to the round end for Blueprint purchases to be "value for money" for players. Blueprints can only be purchased for IDs in world 1. In private worlds, Blueprint technologies are free (as the world itself has already been paid for).

Personally, i think i should be the one who is going to make the 'value for money' judgment call, i'm a little insulted that Azzer arbitrarily makes that decision for me. I think that is something that is implicitly the player's decision. If i think having Puppets for 20.57 days is worth 5 pounds then i'm damn well going to pay it. (on that note, i've already got my 5 BCs which i now can't use on my Punit... :S).

basically, i insist that either i am allowed to tech puppets, or i'm refunded my credits. This is absolutely ****ing absurd that i can't decide when/where/how i can spend my ingame money. This is complete bollocks amd i simply won't stand for it.

Azzer: not only do i feel that you've ruined all the fun i could possibly have in this game when i'm playing allied, now, when i decided to have fun playing solo, you somehow manage to completely **** me over. Jesus H Christ, here i am trying to redeem your game and where i am a paying customer (a pretty decent paying customer when you chalk up all the BCs i've bought for GC and Punits) and i'm trying to have fun, and you arbitrarily decide i cannot have fun. Wtf?!!

Again, i want either a refund, or i want puppets.

Important Note:
There are currently 20.57 days left in World 1 in which to enjoy any Game Cash or Blueprint purchase.

It should read "There are currently 20.57 days left in World 1 in which you can get repeatedly raped in the asshole by Azzer as you pay for a service that he then does not provide."

Yes i'm aware Punits are free the last (2?) weeks of the round, but that is irrelevant under the circumstances.

Alci, as an experienced player of the game, and as any customer, to check the terms and goods that you are wishing to purchase it is your resposibility.
"Purchases: Credits: Yes. Game Cash: Yes. Blueprint Technology: No. ID Bookings: Yes."

That is clearly stated on the Overview page, and if you would of checked it, then oke. The 5 credits? Sell to a friend, or use them another round, they will remain on your account indefinately/until your account is deleted after 4 months or something of no activity.

And as you are more than likely aware, Bush Credits are Non-Refundable, it states this clearly everywhere you go when trying to purchase them.
Maybe a personal word with Azzer might be able to unlock the unit individualy for you, but i'm afraid this isn't the way.
Try catching him on MSN/IRC or even a forumn PM.

Perhaps a more promiment notice then would be nice, afaik, the only place i could have seen that is on the overview.

It would be nice to have a bit more warning.

I also happen to believe that it makes no sense to disable the blueprints... why is that done? why are players not allowed to make their own choice?

Why can't i spend my money on credits for the last 20 days?

I'm somewhat annoyed i can't use my creds, but mostly, just... WHY can't i get my Punit? It's simply absurd.

You can't buy the p-unit right now because 11 days before the end of the round it gets unlocked for free. Hence Azzer thought it was a good idea to 'lock' p-unit purchases if you can't even use the 'bought' unit for a week or more. Do you really want to pay 5BCs for a p-unit for one week?

Well Azzer thinks it's a good idea to manage my money? Hmm.. i disagree with that there as i wrote in my original post because i think the only person who is capable of making a value for money judgment is the player, not the game creator. it's my money, let me waste it on your game as i see fit.

And to answer your question as to whether i would pay 5 BCs for 8 extra days? yes, yes i would. I could use puppets to great advantage/fun in the last 8 days before they are free. No i don't mind the cost because i work a job which helps me afford this. Maybe i'm just special, but i think it's a little ludicrous i can't spend my money how i choose :S

Thats why i believe that limit is there, thats all. To make sure people get their moneys worth. I know you knew how long was left, like i said, talk to Azzer, he might unlock yours and give take your BCs :D

Then you should tick the tick box to confirm you understand that there is only 2 weeks until it is freee. That way those who dont know are told, and those who know are happy.

Yes i agree that it is there to help newbies not get 'screwed' but the fact that it utterly disables the Punit is not cool or reasonable. one big huge warning with a confirmation box should be enough in my honest, opinion.

I would have far, far, far worse complaints if somebody bought a P-Unit and then found that 6 days afterwards everybody was able to get them for free.

I will be willing to manually enable blueprints on your account and manually remove 5 Bushtarion Credits from your account as a "special exception" - I won't make it an option as a confirmation in-game (eg anything automated) because this is one of those things I can fully see more people having problems with if they could buy the P-Unit so close to the end, than there are people who are having problems because they are willing to pay £5 for those extra few days with P-Unit access.

If you are still sure you want access to the P-Unit now and are willing to spend the 5 Bushtarion Credits on you, then I certainly won't complain - it's 5 BC's in my pocket! But I really don't like the feeling of ripping somebody off this close to the end of a round so please only ask me if you are absolutely sure about it, and I'll sort it out manually for you as soon as possible.

so he pays his fiver, and basically almost by the time the actual development finishes the punits become free anyway...how pissed would he be...

This is the most sensible suggestion curing Alci's P-unit deprived rage and keeping the money rolling in for Azzer

Yeah, I would suggest there is a two step system.

a) In ID-settings you must manually tick of the "enable blueprint purchase up until P-unit becomes free"
b) When buying blueprints after the aforementioned setting is ticked you get a bright red warning when you buy blueprints:
There is now XX ticks (XXdays XX hours) till this blueprint becomes FREE. Do you want to continue the purchase?

That way any new-beginner would have to be absolutely blasted to make any misguided purchases! :)
