OK, so I made a calc that I think people will find quite useful.

Current Features:
- AR Calc
- Harv Calc
- Alliance Value Calc (adds scores and land from an ally list Search page)
- List Merger (for spying out an ally's IDs)
- BR Tagger (paste in a BR, it gives it tags to color reds and greens)

For the List Merger, say you're spying out an ally. (Polo's breakspace addon makes this easier.) You get:

aaaa,bbbb,cccc Then you spy [cccc] and get:
aaaa,xxxx,zzzz You then enter them and it outputs:
aaaa,bbbb,cccc,xxxx,zzzz And you can then continue along until you have them all.

You can also keep it on top of other windows, when that's useful, and toggle it back.
You can use anything to separate the IDs, comma's/spaces are not necessary (you could use - or *, or paste TABs from excel, for example). Adding extra lines of text separates as well.

Total alliance value calc has been added. Paste from a Search page with the list, and it will tell you their total value.
That could perhaps help people sort which ally is which.

If anyone knows a better site than Filefront to use, I am open to others.

TODO: other AR calcs, make AR calc bulletproof. Possibly improve the BR tagger to make the output a little prettier.

Windows needs some files it doesn't come with in order to use the calc. There is a README.html file in the folder that gets unzipped. That readme gives a detailed explanation.

There are a number of different places you could use;
FileDump (http://www.filedump.net), RapidShare (http://www.rapidshare.com), or if you're really stuck I'd be happy to stick it up on one of my own servers for you.
What language (or format) is this calc in?

Well, it's just an exe file. It works with Windows XP, I don't think it should have any issues in Vista. About 50KB.

It pops up a windows form, and uses that.

So, with rapidshare, I'm just now looking at it, people can just click a link on here and it will start the download for them, and they won't need any sort of account and it won't redirect their browser?

With RapidShare, once you upload a file, you get given a link you can give to people, they click on it, they then have two options; download it via a premium server (no wait), or wait for anywhere between 2 and 5 minutes while you wait for a slot on the server, complete a CAPTCHA form and then the file starts to download.

FileDump is slightly easier. Upload, give link to others, straight download with no wait/nothing (although the file will need to be zipped!)

An Update.

Improved forms, and new functions added.

Improvements and additions are on the way, but I wanted to share what is done at the moment.

Currently the only things implemented are:

- "Everything" AR calc
- List Merger
- Alliance Value Totaller

Also if there are suggestions, please make them here. I may add to the "To Do" list.

I will probably add a box to input suspected AR, and it will calc if you trigger in addition to saying the values for a bit of extra functionality and convenience.

Any opinions on what would be nice for that, let me know.

I also think I am going to make the total target scores and attacking score display in millions, to make it more readable.

There is currently a bug in the AR calc. For some reason the code isn't trimming the £ off the start of the input score.

For now, delete any £ from your input of target score.

EDIT: the bug is fixed, but not as well as I'd like. For some reason a built-in function isn't performing as expected, so I did a manual fix. Unfortunately, this fix leaves the Target Score input not bulletproof.

The score can be a number, with commas, and one leading £ sign is allowed. Hopefully I will determine a more robust fix.

Beta 05, added Harvester Calculator. The calc for reduction in seeds overnight is pretty conservative, I may test how much more aggressive the reduction factor can be when I get time.

I added to the Ally Value Calc. It now shows land and landfat for the alliance.

Also added a nifty icon instead of that goofy looking one.

The program won't run without some libraries, you will need to install 2 files in order to run it. Unfortunately Windows does not have these by default.
