i know it couldnt work. not to the extent descriibed below. but it was an idea steming from foxes get rid of pnaps for pure solos suggestion. and i think it quite an interesting possability.
any way my idea is have pure solo's select what type of advantages they want. (yes it wouldnt work without alot of effort, i know but just for fun think of the possabilities :D):
pure solo various options:
max land cap: -5% or -6% or -7.5% for enemy geos,(equivalent values for various thiefs too) [/*:m:y38is2fq]
ar: minimal or current/reasonable or high [/*:m:y38is2fq]
max naps: 0, or 1 or 3, [/*:m:y38is2fq]
max injury increase when defending self: +4%, or 7.5% or 12.5%[/*:m:y38is2fq]
and you can select what you want. but each differnt option has a point awarded
blue = 0 points
green = 1 point
red = 2 points
and you have 2 points to allocate how you wish.
though in my own opinion even i think its to complex for beginers to get to grips with. but just a thought. and also give the solos a bit more advantage, you dont know if your going to hit someone and get reduced land. or if they are more likely to recieve ar. etc.
so you could put all your eggs in one basket. or you could try and spread it out. ofc values and points system could be balanced to make it equally fair to do any of the following. ofc the values im showing are just random figures. with minimal thought behind them. the idea being more a solo can pick what he finds suits his route and play style. whether troop whore, score queen, or land fat hoe.
general principle. the o points is a bit bellow the current rate, the 1 point options about the same or above the current systems values, and the 2points vastly superior to the 1 point option.
now you have taken your time to read it, if you comment, please also add how you would portion your points between the options (this is partly for curiosity to see if every one values the same adavantages, and partly to see those who read the whole post b4 they comment and those that dont ;) )
