most people know you can attack a bot (b4 it techs lethals) with 200k -300k lethals such as officers and ninjas and it will run.
1. How would a bot know someone's sending lethals and others not?
Firstly I never came across a bot spying or hacking, secondly if someone attacks me sometimes I can guess or see by the Inc. Eta if lethals are among the attacking mob but often I'm not sure. If the bot's reaction is based on 'legal' calculations the bot shouldn't be able to tell lethal from non-lethal.

2. Polo's terrific Firefox Extension (http://www.nobreakspace.com/news.php?PH ... be4aba66b9 (http://www.nobreakspace.com/news.php?PHPSESSID=aa7cec03a79f64bfaceef8be4aba66b9))
adds some useful information to spy reports.
One thing that struck me. How can this software calculate the Total Value of incoming hostile? Where does the data come from?

Am I missing something?

03:33… Macky21: you know how if you spy someone, it gives a value of their INC?
03:33… Macky21: how is that value calculated
03:34… Polo: total value of the attackers minus their land score
03:34… Macky21: Total Value: £x,xxx,xxx,xxx incoming hostile.
03:34… Macky21: so thats just...
03:34… Macky21: my total value minus land?
03:34… Macky21: or...
03:34… Polo: yup
03:35… Macky21: so its just a rough estimate?
03:35… Polo: that's assuming the attacker sent everything they have
03:35… Macky21: oh
03:35… Polo: but that score also accounts for technologies developed
03:35… Polo: and scans bought
03:35… Polo: etc
03:35… Macky21: yea
03:35… Polo: and seeds/plants/funds

I see it's the total value. Took it for the value of inc hostile. Thanks.

It is the total value of your "real score" i.e. the total value of your troops + the value of the technologies developed (but that does not influence much anyway)

I believe (and I am almost sure on this one) that polo made it like that so that when someone has incomings and when he is trying to organise defence he wants to see the worse scenario possible (i.e. real scores attacking/real scores defending) if he knows the real target.

Ofcourse there is no way his extension can know the actual score of the attacking force a third party has sent.

also it to mee seems logical that bots have to know what you have to some degre. as they cant hack and make an assesment, they arent inteligent just basic programs. hence, they clearly dont need to hack or spie. they are able to know what makes up a mob. or at the very least the number of lethals.

and probably the same goes for attacking.
