Well basically the most common and "original" spoken form of the Chinese language is known as Madarin, and then there are tons of dialects based on the subgroups within the Chinese, which is mostly determined by the areas which the people live in. In particular, Cantonese came from around the Guangzhou area, and is mostly used by people in Hong Kong nowadays. :D

Yes I already knew that, thanks. I stand by my previous comment that going onto a babel website, translating something into Chinese and then back again, and then screenshotting it for a forum is far too much effort for very little reward.
