IRC help...

I was suddenly disconnected from IRC shortly before writing this post and tried to reconnect but was given this error message

[15:26:37] * Connecting to irc.netgamers.org (6667)

[15:26:37] * Unable to resolve server

over and over again with every attempt to reconnect.

is this something i can fix on my end? or is it just a 'wait and hope' kind of problem? Some help would be much appreciated, explanations are welcome too :) Spam and flaming is utterly useless to me and will only result in violent assault of the sexiest kind ;)

Edit: Also, the rest of my internet works fine (obviously) so i'm assuming that isn't the problem :)
