Development Multiplier: As some people have already noticed on their developments page, the development multiplier now starts at 3.2 (up from the previous 2.8). However, it will now drop three times quicker than before.
Oy vey! :P
Oh, I havent noticed that... dont really know what is that meant to do...

Well, last round it took forever to drop to 1.0 due to playerbase getting smaller and smaller.
With the current rate of player loss it wont reach 1.0 at all in a couple of rounds without this adjustment.

I'm not actually sure it reached 1.0 last round. I was developing Hypnotists with 8 days left and the multiplier was still at 1.326
It's a good update.
It'll reach 1 quicker but still stop the massively active guys having too much of an advantage.

probably continue and end with a big discussion about azzer playing a game he admins and cheats at like afew rounds ago...
That actually was a rhetorical question just to see what ... ehm... players like would say...
I know how the story would end :P
PS. Azzer didnt cheat few rounds ago, just beacuse you are ignorant doesnt mean he did.

hehe F0xx knows the story....
Azzer joins and helps the alliance with his knowledge of the game (btw dont think he cheats either)
Azzer gets bored
Azzer acts a spy and gets everyone in the ally killed to relieve boredom
Azzer leaves alliance
Thats what usually happens be interesting to see how it goes this time

I'll tell you how the story is going to end, taken from our politics thread:
From: Azzer, Sometime Delete Edit Quote
Do we have any "rules" to follow to lose by?
It's too easy to lose. Losing has to be a challenge. Can anyone think of anything that would be fun to do, that would help is to lose, but make it a challenge?
Eg if we had to try - had to buy land, do attacks RELATIVELY sensible (eg not just attacking 500% targets all the time)... all went the same route (nutters, puppet masters, etc.)... otherwise we all just stay at 5 land or all suicide on huge targets = guaranteed lose! Which is too easy!
Ideas welcome ;P
You see, we are going to pwn you all at the start and then be destroyed by our crappy route setup and lack of activity. May the cutest and cuddliest win. :P

[11:47:22] <Davis> I'm sure others have already pointed this out but on the portal 4.5 pt. 2
[11:47:25] <Davis> "* Development multiplier now starts at a higher amount - 3.2 - but drops at a rate three times quicker than before. This should help the multiplier hit 0 sooner, while still allowing longer early "low-tech/flak wars". "
[11:47:35] <Davis> the multiplier never hits *0*
[11:47:51] <Davis> that would make the developments be done instantly and cost nothing
[11:47:55] <Davis> it only ever reaches 1

You're imagining things. If you look you'll see it clearly says 1, not 0.... ;)
