Cool! Wish we had snow here... though being in Yorkshire, north of England, you'd think it'd be pretty commonplace! Roll on white christmas...!

Yeah but, down there, isn't it the opposite of us in the Northern Hemisphere... eg... your Christmas is in Summer, not winter? And so a white christmas is really unlikely even for those in the south because it's their summer time??

Which always made me wonder about Christmas cards that depict snowy scenes in Australia!!!

yeah i believe it is, because i think australia swap there seasons with india is it or something, when australia get good whether its more in the winter time and when they get bad whether its more in the summer time when they get typhoon and shizz. and india get the oposite whether good in summer, shocking in winter.

i hope my geography lessons served me well ;p (i could be completely wrong haha, sounds good tohugh doesnt it?)

Yes, Christmas in Australia tends towards 40 degrees and is completely unholy.

I'm currently in New Zealand, and it just doesn't feel like Christmas. It's kinda surreal having hot weather and barbecues a-plenty while hearing Christmas music blaring out of the shops. :P But hey, for these southern hemisphere folk the idea of a christmas in winter is just as weird!

This amuses me, given that the Montpelier I am familiar with is up in Vermont, and certainly has a few feet of snow on the ground now.

We usually don't get snow much here, just plain old ice.
