Alliance Overview Message

Would it be possible to increase the number of characters available to use on the Alliance Overview Message? The existing allowance seems a bit small and an increase would allow more information to be given to alliance members.

Yeah, I agree, especially because links and formatting take up all those extra characters ([ID!xxxx], , etc)

i especially find this necessary with the increase in "noob" alliances, due to the much greater need for more explanations on the overview to let the "newbies" know whats they should/shouldn't be doing. And it can be quite annoying to try and sum it all up into a much smaller section than you originally expected.

our overview is jam packed with stuff, most of it i think is pointless, so what do u want? to write a new chapter of a book in there every day????

on mine we can only fit on contact details and thats at a push, anymore details than that and it destroys half of it :(

Some leaders like to add contact details and other things to the overview such a useful links, or maybe more 'fun' things such as poems. Although, Pols can be used for each rather than increasing the size of the overview message, changed my mind on the whole idea.. keep it the length it is.

I agree with you there, but it isn't necessary and I doubt Azzer is gonna change it. He has more than enough on his hands :P So use pols :)

The alliance I'm in store all the essential details on Overview (as well as Politics) - a list of IDs with route, contact number and timezone. Further to this we have our details such as other important guidelines and things the members need to know. I'm not talking about adding poems or whatnot - if we add so much as a reasonably long sentence, bits start to drop off without warning.
