confused

So im POM route, about 3 billion value ( took a week break and got owned.. still recovering).

I have a problem. I keep getting flakk attacked, 400mil INN, and i find it impossible to disable it all.

One person has figured this out and attacks me time and time over.

So i had about 35mil gurus, and 2mil news vans. I disabled 346 of his 350mill attack.

So i talked to my buddy and he said get more news vans, so i did.

Same attack comes, this time i have 35mil gurus, and 4.5mil news vans... he still lands?

i dont understand...

any advice? other then get good allys or pnaps :D

Protestor gurus are definately the way to go if you want to stop being flakked (by gardeners, they aren't too good against tractors).
So get loads of gurus, and keep your current amount of newsies to sweep after the gurus.

edit: to stop 400m flak you need 80m gurus. :p

do you have hypnos?

if you do buy some of them, it will thin out the flak on the first 2 ticks :D

I've been playing as a top 10/15 pom all round and set up i have tried to stick to is:

1.5 Guru/ 1 HV/ 1-3m News vans/ 1 POM/ 1 Prot Leader.

Don't forget about prot leaders.
They fire before Bikers last tick distracting some of them.
They are also great cheap NLD flak and will stop sleepys on attacks.

There isn't a set ratio just to stop land loss...
Someone will always send just enough to land on you, or else they wouldn't send at all.

I don't use yob's to defend myself, but i have bought some yobs this round so i could send eta 1 defence 150m guru + 10m yobs, because we needed a bit more cover.
Ideally i would use newsvans -> and why stop at 1m?
I have 3m.
Someone sends too much geo at you and 1m might not be enough.

Guru and POM are going to stop the flak.
Hippyvans are great NLD flak and great against armour.
Prot leaders are there for last tick against bikers + flak.
Stick to this tactic.

hahahha thats what ive being doing to a 7bill PoM, he buys up on everything and i still land with 150m max :D
i had 77m CG, 3m tractor and a bit of gards. Im doing on right now on another guy, ill let you know how it goes :D

lol again if u got hypnos its good start, but if u are going without the p-unit than best option imo is to just mass the guru... yet still keeping a few mill News Vans to sweep tractor and the many millions of geos that everyone has....

Guru distract about 5m gards and poms about 7ish atm..... so add up how much got and buy up where necessary.

news vans are just sweepers, you dont need very many of them, as has been mention, in order to stop him flakking gurus are the best.

i have played PoM many times and i have never really bothered with News Vans at all. just make sure you have a lot of gurus to stop flak, PoM to stop LET and HV to stop AR
