I know a lot of you know your way around computers so i have a couple of questions for you :)
I reformatted my computer recently to clear it up, however, in reinstalling my OS using my proper disk for my laptop it removed my partitions :( When i partitioned my HDD last time I had a Windows install disc but now that is missing, and any other disk i have wont do it for me.
Am i stuck with one partition or is there something else i can do?
Other question:
I have an external HDD. I have partitioned it. Can i install Win98 on a partition? I have the install discs, but do i need to change the format to FAT32 or something?
And while formatting my external HDD i noticed the 'mark partition as active'. Now i havnt thought twice about it before, but thought i may as well ask. What does it actually do? Whats it for?
Cheers
