View Full Version : Bash Prevention

Ok sooo we (most people who play in "smaller" alliances) are getting bashed left and right, day in and day out. There's supposedly an reduction of injuries to people who bash for prevention, however it is proven time and time again that it is flawed and absolutely useless. The main problem is that the victims have to be able to actually hurt the attacker first, so even if the bigger players get an injury reduction on smaller victims it doesn't amount to anything.

Solution : My suggestion is that we implant some sort of "morale" system. (Stolen from Tribalwars =P). I was thinking of the lower you bash the better the victims troops become against you. So lets say you hit at 30% of your score, the victims troops will suddenly act if they had 70% exp (with the health / armor bonus also) in the old system (I haven't actually thought of the ratios of exp to value that's hitting you, just a suggestion). So I guess this'll be like taking the exp system of the old age and just changing it around. Of course only the victims troops will get the exp bonus or else no one will ever be able to get any land in the bigger alliances. Also it'll only apply to defense. =P

Combined with the reduction of injuries, people will have to think twice before bashing instead of hitting the same people over and over and over again. This'll be a good way to put the exp system in use again without people like DS abusing exp to no ends and getting trillions of bounty.

Sorry but no,

Morale works in TW due to the very nature of its battle system and its troops limitations, it is there to balance the advantages of the attacker, who usually has 15-20 villages attacking (if need be) 12+ nukes and a noble train against a single village at a time, this works as the game operates in real time and you have no ally or govt AR to protect you

As Bushtarion is tick based (not real time), your ally can see your incoming and defend accordingly or if solo the govt sends a mob if you are being overwhelmed, so the basic cause and effect of this system has been incorporated into bush already without another level of unneeded complexity, also on another note as the system you mention tells you the morale before you attack you can calc battles almost exactly so again another unneeded level of automation to the game

What this game needs is for a little less reactionary behaviour from a small element of the playerbase, a brand new 'half age' was introduced at an unfortunate time when its creator for personal reasons has not been here to monitor and correct bugs or fully resolve any 'major' issues with balancing the new systems put in place

The Injury system with full behind the scenes l/f (when fully implemented) and the war declarations will allow us to have better rounds than before imo
At the end of the round i will post my full thoughts of the system as will i think many other players and after a full round and the chance for any needed small changes/bug fixes then we will be in the right place to judge

Some sort of bash prevention is needed, but this isnt the answer. Reduced land stealing will help, but not much. I still think the answer lies in alliance bounties between alliances that have persistently been bashed and the ones doing the bashing. This would allow small alliances to suicide on much larger enemies and still profit. Whilst also acting as a deterent to the gutless 30%+ bashers!

so what was the reaction to raising the attack limit? i'm sure that was thought of before.
