How about you look at the combat stats between our alliances, Cyrus. That gives a fairly good impression which of us are the better attackers.

You can try and downplay the effectiveness of our attacks, but we killed like 5 of your members last night, and how many of us did you kill? And you were twice our size when we started.

Plus I don't think we've been working with another alliance in hitting you. As far as I know we've just been sending on our own. If you had other attackers at the same time that's unfortunate for you, but it was not deliberate from us.

Shouldn't have tried bashing the other alliances below you then, by all means do it if you do it well, but your guy's (note you specifically) attacks were pitiful, and it just generates malice for you as a group and doesn't hinder the other alliances at all.
Ever since you guys hit us with DW (althoguh you and Asmo both said it was random and I believe you) it still looked like we were bashed by 2 alliances, when I declared war on DW for a few hours the joint attacks between you recinded. I'm not reading anymore into it, but Ail have been bashed all round, and we've had our fair share of incs too.
Bare in mind we have only hit you first time this morning so don't use that 24/7 by 3 allies bollocks. Aili have been pounding you on their own pretty much.

Only time I saw S2N hitting you guys is when they were piggying our first successful offensives.

We (Aili) have been trying to LET rush you guys now for probably a week or so(maybe more?). Ever since you guys had passed us when we were on the way down I had been asking Garrett for a war effort from us on IOAB.

On the night that we finally got through, S2N started to piggy like crazy on the attacks that we had sent, including my own attacks. Really I wish it didn't happen this way, but that's how it has gone down.

There has been no talk with any other alliances(that I know of) for coordinated attacks of any kind against IOAB. When an alliance stops defending well, they will get incs no matter what.

As an officer in Aili that is on the same time that Garrett would be planning things, I can say that your argument is the one that is flawed here. There have been no talks with other alliances. I haven't talked to a S2N member since Hobbez left us for dead. Haven't heard Garrett mentioning anything about any alliance other than our own.

If we were purposefully hitting IOAB with S2N I would have deleted my ID. I dislike twigs in-game this round. It'll be the last thing I do to help him achieve any goals this round.

I was only replying to Garrett taking the "We wanted a challenge" card out. Reading from another topic that he first asked Martin to attack Boat together, and also seeing our own outgoing, makes me wonder if it was a war "for the gigantic challenge of warring with an ally twice our score", or just war because you want a war.
Questioning motives doesn't really change anything about the damage you guys did, or to the difference in score between both alliances when the war started. I'm not in either ally so I can't comment on that, I can only comment on posts made here or on outgoings that I can see.

Aili started taking you down and from the beginning of this thread there were some pretty significant battles which did do alot of damage to you guys.
Yes i wont deny and im sure they wont either that other people were attacking fairly closely together but we didn't do Too much damage, just took land when your fakes failed and you sent out - really the congrats should go to Aili they started off half your size and were successfully killing you off bit by bit.
And also to blame alot of this on S2N is quite frankly ridiculous due to the fact that only a couple of there members could hit you, Aili did you over good and proper, we have a thread of all attacks against you and only a couple of BR's have any combat mainly just land after you guys gave up...

as cyrus has already admitted however incorrectly (we got thru every odd time or so) this started at least 5-9 days before s2n ever thought of massing you.

I didn't post a thread until we had an attack that had multiple great successes, as in this is the very battle in which i think the momentum turned and we could do bigger and better things.

As in my mind, there was no way we were losing after finally breaking your line in a big way. You all tried to mass us 1 or 2 days for about 3-4 hrs. You all failed at it. Most if not all your rushes failed. You couldn't attack effectively and your defense at night lacked support. You would have fallen to 4 of anyone with the size and troop types we brought. We got under your skin we wore you down. That's what wins the war. Not the # of allies you bring.

Between you and me? just you and me? how the win happened doesn't matter. does clarifying details make you feel better? it does for me sometimes, until i calm down. then when calm i stop caring. unless i find the fun i can have with it afterwards

I think you misunderstood my meaning, and also I didn't phrase it very well. In the attacks that we launched during the day and early night, there were quite a few we had to recall. I was referring to the attacks that we were launching in the wee hours which almost always got through.

This is yet more nonsense. We got through plenty of times when we hit during your weak time, when it was quite clear you had very few people on. Maybe you were asleep and nobody told you about it. I killed Davis in the very first attack we did on you, which was about a week ago. And I'm ****ing robos, so will you please stop using this whole "rushing" excuse. It's just a complete lie. Some of our attacks were rushes, most were eta 5.

And I don't think ANY of us said it was just us. What we have been trying to get through your thick head is that we hit you on our own. There is a difference. Our attacks were nothing to do with STN or RRR. We didn't have any communication with STN when we hit you. We didn't have any communication with RRR when we hit you (the first time I heard that RRR had hit you was when Martin posted a couple of BRs in this very thread). Aili started taking you down and from the beginning of this thread there were some pretty significant battles which did do alot of damage to you guys.
Yes i wont deny and im sure they wont either that other people were attacking fairly closely together but we didn't do Too much damage, just took land when your fakes failed and you sent out - really the congrats should go to Aili they started off half your size and were successfully killing you off bit by bit.

You do have to agree that this statement is a bit cheap, seeing as STN have been randomly hitting the largest members of boat since Enmity went down, which is a fair few days before this topic was opened.
So yeah, you took on an alliance 2x your size, but it was an alliance where a lot of resources were tied up by having multiple random incomings by STN on their largest members (which probably stopped them from retaliating on any of your attacks).

And before you say "we never asked STN to hit them, what they do is outside our control", that's all quite true, but this was a known factor before you started a war on Boat, so you knew before you took on this "challenge" that it was hardly just you vs an ally 2x your size. :p

Actually, on the alliance stats page they do. It counts the total incomings of your members over the course of the round, so most of those will have been before you joined IOAB. For example, your ex-RRR members were targets of the resistance and had loads of incomings then.
