So apparently the resistance is dead, and I am very curious when the battle for rank 2 will happen. I am sure everyone is busy working on the small easy targets, but I wanna see some big fights. A fight of OF/Ail vs Enmity/STN could be very interesting to watch.

sour grapes. your 'leader's' decision to stall and waste time and effort on OF is what made RRR hard to touch afterwards. I simply removed the illusion that your alliance was going to be useful at all.

i mean my group isn't ftw. we're going to die. I've been waiting for it for a couple weeks now. however your group was for the win and died in 1.5 waves. Well lets round up to 2. 2 waves. FTW ally. dead. GF tho.

My thoughts on the subject:

Ailiphilia is a For The Fun alliance, so probably will just try to cause maximum mayhem, ut in the end drop a bit back, and start playing havoc with the allianses 5-10th

OF is by their own admission not that active as the top three, and many have IRL commitments... (Life creeps up on you when you are past 30, amirit?) So I doubt they will come out as the best of the losers.

That leaves Enmity and S2N. Now _my_ impression is that Twigley have a bit more control and plan to his ally than JJ, so if pushed I might put my money on them.

But it should be interesting to see. Still half a round to go, loads can happen!

Why the hell would OF want to be rank 1 loser?

OF really doesn't care about ranks. Most of OF have been rank 1 loser before, it's not all it's cracked up to be & the medical is completely rubbish!

I mean you have to be contactable to run from the massing by Rank 1 when one of the members get into range or to get online to defend them. Then you have be completely wussy and hoarde your seeds. Next thing you are setting score limits to stay out of range and have to be limit your daily stealing.

From there the round degenerates!

Because then either rank 2 & 3 have no attack policy on each other or some other combination between rank 2-5. And everyone beneath spends the rest of the time trying to keep out of there range. The game then slowly grinds into a stalmate where very little of anything happens.

In terms of ranks - S2N are still a rank 2 option unfortunately. Ail could pull something out of there hats and go for it. The question would be who Enmity see as the threat and what deals they've made with S2N - yes it's sad but we will always be alittle sus of R30 TBA players.

Emmm i think by resisting the resistance and remoivng the lower alliances in it was in no small part down to us.

Although the forums indicate Ail attacked Fail they did so at a time when they were in a state of war with OF and i can assure you as much pain as Ail gave Fail we gave them much more with no injuries and insurance

Only 2 more of the so-called resistance to go and Ailiphilia arent one of them if your going to have hate please hate the right people

I think you will find s2n and Enmity did ALL (apart from 1 wave) of the planning on the hits on RRR, sent the most mobs and had the most people involved.

We just didnt have enough help and RRR were too good in activity and contactability.

To make predictions at this stage of the round is incredibly hard. However, who is offering the prize for picking it? A car would be nice. (Where's Oprah when you need her?)

Old Farts will not place second. We never wanted to, we've never aimed to. We just try and not soil ourselves, mainly - then we try and cause trouble to the scallywags who pick on our senile states of mind.

Out of the other three, I believe Ail has the potential to win, however, as was shown earlier - there are still some strong ties between Twigley and JJ (I won't say the alliances, because it is merely the leaders who communicate). If Ail were to hit Enmity, or S2N - I am 90% sure the leaders would tell each other, "Free land at Ail", prompting incoming. Although this is claimed to not be 'working together', it effectively halts any chance of Ail victory.

So, if Ail try to attack either S2N or Enmity, I believe the order will be Enmity, S2N, Old Farts, Ail.

If Ail do not attack, I predict it will be Enmity, Ail, S2N/Old Farts(Toss of a coin between the two)

Will be interesting to see the final placings of these 4 alliances.

However, two events in the past two days have made me question that. The first of these was an Enmity member both attacking with you, while also stealing another of your member's land. Bizarre.

The second incident was us being crazy old 'folk sending to attack you, S2N. When we were eta 1, we were retalled by Enmity. I heard someone from S2N informed Enmity of our attack.

So I want to believe you aren't associated with one another, however it's hard to see a clear indication of this - with mixed actions. Some days killing each other, other days helping each other.

I truely do hope that is the case. :) The round functions better if it's a free for all. Maybe when I see some Enmity/S2N battles, that idea of your association will disappear!

Sorry Twigley i believe you must have misread my post i accept full responsibility for the resistance failing not only did we refuse to give you our troops to help we also ensured that the alliances below rank 4 (i.e not yourselves, Enmity and Ail) had little to no troops and eventually no land to help assist you.

I dont know if our 20+ rounds hatred of each other has led you to automatically assume that every post is a direct attack on you or your alliance but tbh from what i heard you put in quite a bit of effort and made a genuinely valid attempt my only comfort is that in some small way i helped to derail it

umm i planned more than one wave or i tried to, at least had input on many hits. it was known that the 3 allies didn't have a sync'd up strong time. often times when i came with many people, i was the only leader on and no one in the other allies would rally their troops.

the plan was 24/7. i was ready 24/7. i was online enough to watch everyone goto sleep.

while its true during the waves that were sent 2nd20 and enmity sent the most mobs and i'm not going to take away from what they did while they were awake.

it was simply a half hearted ~12hrs/3 days a week too late.

this is why it failed.

alot of RRR still have 2-5 in range. how can we carry on war with each other that will make at least 1 side bigger when the stealing happens... just to lose it all to RRR and end up weaker than before?

RRR wants to see action? They need to give up their pressing need to have 1 sided battles or just gain land... you see rank 1 complain about boredom all the time, but they are just as happy for free land... real challenge and all...

If RRR would grow, i'm sure you would see some fightin. As it is, we're all (handi)capped trying not to bring down the overwhelming numbers.

You, Fail, TIR and to a lesser extent lethal rushes on S2N as well as refusing to give our troops to the cause so yes i takea lot of credit for the resistance falling learn to read Enrico and one alliance attacking another is completely different to 5 alliances and stragglers v 1 allliance everyone else ingame has accepted this except you.

It seems Enmity has got the upper hand on Ailiphila, S2N and OF, but they risk wandering to heavily into RRRs range, and I have a sneaky suspicion those guys are starting to get bored and are more than willing to do suboptimal attacks just for **** and giggles.
