Baseball bat ftw. Shovels are heavy and clumsy, and the flat edge makes them aerodynamically awful, so when you swing it you get a much higher drag factor than with the baseball bat.

And a doppelganger is someone who looks exactly like you.

get the shovel and start digging a hole, then ask if the ohter guy can help you dig a hole, swap the shovel for the bat and push him in the hole. every time he tries to get out hit him on the head. and if you're lucky they'll throw the shovel at you, then you'll have both the weapons and you win :)
