BushScript 2.6 - Lite

Update 18/3/10 - Changed GUI slightly.

I have created a new, "lite" version of BushScript for the new version of mIRC.

I'd like to point out that this version is just a straight up version of mIRC, designed for new IRC users. If you are unfamiliar with IRC and wish to gain easy access to the Bushtarion chatroom, this program is for you.

The basic features are:

Pre-configured wizard to help you connect to the netgamers server on which the Bushtarion chatroom is based.

Basic "Bushtarion" themed mIRC client.

Purpose driven command scheme based on the needs of the typical Bush user. (I.e Fast links to link you to Unit info, user profiles from the nick list, etc.)

Password Protection.

P-Command script for use on the Netgamers server only. Hopefully this stripped down' version will encourage more people to get involved in the community. As always, any problems - PM me.

This file is compressed, meaning there files required to run BushScript have been tightly packed into one file. You must extract these files in order to use BushScript Lite. The two most popular decompressing/extraction tools are:

Winzip -> http://www.winzip.com/prod_down.htm
or
Winrar -> http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

(Or you can extract using your operating systems built in decompression tool, if you have the means to do so)

Once you've extracted the files, open the "mIRC" icon (mIRC.exe)

From here, follow the wizard and you'll be in no time chatting away on the Bushtarion chatroom!

Created a script to "Quick link" peoples IRC names to their profile on Bushtarion. Users of BushScript can now right click people in the chan, and click "Profile" to be directed to his/her profile page.

For those of you who do not wish to download BushScript, but would like this feature added to mIRC, you can do so by downloading the "Bush Profile Script".

Simply download the below script ("popups.ini") and paste it into your mIRC folder, overwriting your old "popups.ini" script.

I'm trying to download BushScript onto my new PC, but all I get is "Windows Live" when I click on the link suggested.

Any other way I can get BushScript?

Ah, my bad Max - I've uploaded the most recent version of the script to FileFactory here (http://www.filefactory.com/file/cb19995/n/BushScript251.rar)
