Why on earth people post "Looking for ally" and others post "Ally recruiting" in this mini world.

Why spam it and be lazy and not pm those that have an ally recruitment.

I can see one side as to why. If you look at those recruiting and dont know any of the leaders, than you may just want to let people know that you are looking...as you know, many of the alliances dont always post vacancies..they fill with people they know from prior rounds:)

At first I agreed with Twigley, but your'e quite right, you don't know who you're dealing with through ally recruitment. Alliance leaders can choose to be more descriptive in their requirements, but that means publicly giving away quite a lot of info and lets face it, alliances like to remain fairly secretive especially at round start.

Agree with the spamming of forums being a mess with it all. Wish we still had option to mark all posts as read, no chance of having it back?

I simply go to 'View active topics' and scroll through the latest and greatest and active topics. Not a huge bother for me.
