is it just me or does anyone get annoyed at the fact that 9 times out of 10 ya get silly flower or grass acres in land grabs. I personally would love to be able to uncultivate land and change it to bush or tree. Whether this could be done as a generic unit like the combines or tractors and you have to research a cultivator unit say. I just think to get rid of the annoying acres would really make me happy whatever price it cost.

I think this is a good idea, I have actually thought about it myself
But dont forget, i like to have a bit of grass as it means i have lots of grass seeds. I know this means more harvesters, but it also means if i get nasty seed thieves then they wont get to steal as much worth of seeds.
Another point, there wont be as much variability in the game, the choices of acres will be very limited across the playerbase
And we mustn't forget that while the yield for bush is best, the differences arent massive
Conclusion: I dont have a preference, but i still thought i'd post some points so other people can make a 'more' informed decision ;)

And what would be the point of having 4 different types of acres then? It's all about seasonal spread! Leave it as it is tbh, that's one of the disadvantages of attacking bots, you do get a bad acre set-up.
Also, one part of what timtadams said is right.. seed flak ftw! (grass seeds flak tree seeds)
I'm sorry, bad acre set-up? There are clearly advantages to having grass and flower acres, so I don't know why this would be necessary.

this hasn't been brought up in some time, but it's been brought up before. it just doesn't flow well. not to mention the ability to change your entire land make up right before an attacker lands.
if it can be done whenever you want - why have different acre types to begin with? (which I think someone already said)
if it takes many ticks to hours - i'd imagine during the 'uncultivation' process you would (or at least i hope you would) lose the production in those acres until they finish uncultivating and then you have to replant.
it's too much work for too little benefit (if any). PLUS you and others would potentially be hurting yourself further by having no/insufficient grass/flower and being penalized by the seed formula.
I just don't see any benefit to this suggestion.

Agreed, last time it was brought up it was decided it would be too abusable.. And lead to too many issues etc.

grass and flower acres are just as good as tree or bush...income wise....fair enough it might take more harvs or gards but you get no less (and sometimes more) incoming from grass and flower inc as tree/bush.
Disagree with this suggestion lots!

A big resounding no on all counts people stated above. I do hope some use is inserted for having different acres types in Age 5. But i think this is not the proper way to go about it....

I'd love to be able to change my acres according to the seasons.
