Currently we have some unit types, like Machine/Vehicle, Living, Undead etc.

They are not in use much, except for some units like Scrap Bot which attacks only Machine/Vehicle, Robotic (not sure whether there are others).

So what I feel is since they are not used, why not remove them OR make them more prominent?

those are almost all reductions or bonusses on some sort of unit (be it undead/living/robotic/machine etc.

so there are plenty more then you think i guess

Well actually there are 21 units with bonuses, and out of these, 9 have bonuses against unit classes while the other 12 have bonuses against specific units/routes.

I agree.

Either make them more prominent, and have greater impact, or scrap the all together.

Right now they are a needlessly confusing layer of unit data for newcomers.
