Tim is currently working on a rewrite of BushStats.

It's going to take him some time though, so keep an eye out for the future.

hmm, graphs. If you don't mind me asking, how are you storing the data for all the ID's? keeping all the text dumps or just having alot of rows in a table or what?

BushStats doesn't actually provide the graphing functions. This new version supports most of the "original" BushStats functions, but in a much simpler form.

The graphing functions are actually provided by Polo's Powo site (http://nobreakspace.com) - he has agreed that BushStats can have an online form, which fits into our interface, which will forward the users to his own site. Similarly with Bobwo functions such as the Anti-Rape calc etc.

I would imagine that the graphs are simply stored in a database in different tables, as querying saved dumpfiles on every occasion would likely be ineffective and take too long.

ahh, okay, cool.
aye, thats what I was thinking about dumpfiles - especially by the end of the round :S

but different tables would mean there was a large ammount of them... but then having a row for each id every 12 ticks would make one table stupidly big by the end of the round aswell. hmmmm.

No. Powo was the original. Hewo said he got the idea for the Bobwo name from Powo.

From the old forums:
Bobwo was bobwo cos it was bobbin and hewo, no? Why powo? :P

Pretty pictures though.

Powo was the name of the IRC bot I created back in R12. It was thought up way before Bobwo was created.

I don't know why I originally chose that name though.... It just sounds fun. =)

i can voutch for that i remember when he had powo way beffore i joined up with bobbin

and actually now that i think of it im pready sure it was polo's powo that gave me the idea of nameing it bobwo

I remember using Powo back in Round 13 when it was an IRC bot. Dunno if this was before the Bobwo toolkit?

As for this being called Bushwo, either Polo or Bobbin suggested it in IRC last weekend and it seemed like a good time for a refresh too.
